Job Description

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about content writing and have at least 4 years of experience as a B2B Content Writer in the industry. The Sr. Content Writer will create a wide range of content and copy, from featured news, case studies, e-books, white papers, website articles, email copies, sales collaterals, and more.
By collaborating with our marketing and SEO teams to drive content strategy and distribution, this role gives you the chance to work with an editorial team of industry writers to cover a wide range of topics and content formats across our industry network. It also gives you access to global exposure through bylines for content you produce across our publications.

Skills:

    • At least 1 year of experience with an online B2B publication
    • 4+ years of experience as a content writer
    • Proven work experience of at least 3 years as a B2B content writer
    • Content samples that demonstrate writing skills with a portfolio of published articles, white papers, case studies, and infographics in B2B industry.
    • Experience working on B2B client projects
    • Strong understanding of keyword research and SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
    • Experience doing B2B industry research using multiple sources.
    • Experience creating B2B content formats around a buyer persona.
    • Experience writing in US English
    • PG diploma, a degree in Mass Communications/Journalism, or a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature/Arts.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and shifting priorities.
    • Strong, clear, and concise communication skills; impeccable grammar and punctuation.
    • Ability to meet daily content creation deadlines
    • Must have editing and proof reading skills
    • Preferred – Technical experience working with Marketmuse

Responsibilities:

    • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
    • Write premium, plagiarism-free B2B content, including technical B2B articles, whitepapers, case studies, email copies, and more on multiple industry-based topics.
    • Communicate with B2B clients for content-related projects
    • Follow a well-thought-out editorial calendar and find new arenas to repurpose existing content and re-distribute to boost content discoverability in creative ways.
    • Writing clear marketing copy to promote industry publications.
    • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate content
    • Deliver client-based content projects in a B2B style of writing.
    • Team building effort – Help and guide associates from time to time and contribute valuable inputs to peers.
    • Train junior associates and help them understand the work process quickly and efficiently.

Qualification

    • PG diploma or degree in Mass Communications / Journalism or a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature / Arts.
